Welcome to Tales of a Campground Host, formerly Destination Great Lakes. We are a family that volunteers every summer to host for the US Forest Service in two campgrounds near our home in the Great Lakes Region.
Because of our camp host duties, we get the privilege of living three months out of the year on the shore of Black Lake, a little bit north of Winter, WI.
We enjoy sharing our experiences as camp hosts with you as well as our non-hosting related activities. You can find us on YouTube via three different channels. Tales of a Campground Host, Yarning Around, and Techno Hodag.
Tales of a Campground host is our main channel where our outdoor related activities and stories will be shared. We also live-stream there once a month. Yarning Around is Stephanie’s crafting channel where she shares crafts she is making. Techno Hodag is Travis’s channel where he shares his love of technology and its applications. Don’t be surprised if there is technology related camping videos there.
Stick around, check us out and drop us a line. Oh! Don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe, and ring the bell for notifications!
